What's New at Panther International, LLC
Team Panther Joins the Fight Against Breast
Cancer
The Panther team gathers each year to participate in the Florida
Suncoast Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Members from all
three Florida and the California office will be in the Tampa Bay
area to participate in the race to raise money for the fight
against breast cancer. Read more about the race and Panther's
involvement here.
It's Trade Show Season for Team Panther
We sent a team to Oklahoma City armed with educational
materials, giveaways, and a demonstration of our BlackCat Grant
Management System. The response from staff members of the
attending Departments of Transportation was overwhelming.
They were excited to know that that is an easier way to review,
select, track, report on, and improve the granting process and
there was particular excitement over the affordability of the
system. We love to hear this feedback!
We also divulged a few details on our soon-to-be-released
BlackCat Rail Management System. BCR is a rail crossing
inventory program that is accessible by state DOTS, railroads and
the FRA. More details will be released soon! 999
We are also excited for a little more time on the road.
We'll be at SASHTO in Nashville, SCORT in Charlotte, AASAHTO in
Detroit, and FPTA in Tampa. We'd love to meet you if you will
be there, too!
Panther CEO & President Named to Chamber
Board
After nearly ten years as a member of the Greater
Tampa Chamber of Commerce, Chase Stockon has accepted the
appointment to the board of directors for the 2011 term.
Chase has always been an active member of the community
and makes philanthropy and community service an integral part
of life at Panther International. For further
information, see the press release here.
The Panther Team Goes to Space School
At the end of each year our whole team gets together for a day
of fun. The rules are that we all must agree on the activity,
it has to be something that keeps us all together, and we have to
be able to get there and back in one day. This year, we chose
the Astronaut Training Experience at the Kennedy Space
Center. We flew simulated space shuttles, spun in circles to
get an idea of what G-force feels like, and floated from harnesses
to simulate weightlessness. See some of our pictures
below.
