The Enterprise Center

Challenge: The Center manages an annual budget of over a million dollars in federal, state, and local grants. They needed a system to monitor grant burn rates and strategic goal progress against an established, aligned metrics system.

Solution: Panther International used the BlackCat Grant Management System^® core and tailored it to meet the needs of The Enterprise Center, which included building a dashboard feature to display analytic progress and metrics.

Outcome: Since BlackCat Grants is a powerful data management system, the customization and implementation was completed quickly and easily. The dashboard feature was included in the application to enable users to effortlessly assess grant spending alongside grant proposals, milestones, progress reports, and other compliance requirements. The system logs all transactions which will be collected over time and used later for historical data analysis. The user rights and access levels are granular and scalable so information can be segregated and reported in varying increments.
