Chase C. Stockon - President and CEO

Chase C. Stockon is CEO and President of Panther
International, LLC, the custom software application development and
technology firm he founded in 1994. He is responsible for leading
Panther's dynamic growth, organizational vision, and strategic
consulting services. Chase has more than 20 years experience in
software development and transportation and has worked with
government agencies and corporations from Alaska to Puerto Rico and
many locales in between.
Chase has an extensive transportation background with experience
in regional system planning, airport master planning, and
transportation grant management. His specialties include systems
integration, project development, grant management, and computer
programming.
He has developed software models for activity forecasting, CIP
management, facility and pavement systems integration, airport
inspection, airport development coordination, ground access
evaluation, and heliport demand projection. Key projects include
software development of computerized JACIP, programming for the
Florida Aviation Database at the Florida Department of
Transportation, and the development of computer applications to
assist state personnel in the inspection and licensing of
airports.
Previously, he was the Director of the Center for Aviation
Research and Education in Washington, D.C., a non-profit aviation
education and research foundation associated with NASAO. He has
also been the Manager of Aviation Planning for Denver Regional
Council of Governments (DRCOG) where he was responsible for all
regional aviation programs in the Denver metropolitan area, as well
as an aviation planner for the Metropolitan Transportation
Commission (MTC) in California.
Chase received his Bachelor of Science degree in International
Business Management from Colorado State University and received his
M.B.A. in International Transportation from San Francisco State
University. He has also attended graduate studies in New Mexico and
Tokyo, Japan.
Chase is heavily involved in community and civic activities. He
currently serves or has served on the following boards/committees:
Florida Aquarium (Board Chairman, Aquarium Foundation Chairman,
Audit Committee Chairman), Leadership Florida (Regional Chairman),
Florida League of Cities (Judge-Cities of Excellence), Florida
AeroPac (Vice-Chairman, Political Action Committee), Florida
Airports Council (Committee Member), The Spring of Tampa Bay
(Chairman of Budget and Performance Oversight Committee, Chairman
of Transition Committee), National Council on Alcoholism and Drug
Dependence (Consultant), Leadership Tampa Bay (Board of Directors),
Leadership Tampa Class of 1999 (Class President), Transportation
Research Board (Committee for Intergovernmental Relations), Tampa
Bay Performing Arts Center (Vice- Chairman, Producer Board), Tampa
Bay & Company (Board Member), Tony Jannus Distinguished
Aviation Society, and Colorado Department of Transportation
Transition Team on Aviation.
